News & Notes

At just 16, Nakibuuka Mary faced abandonment and poverty. Through the Rose Namayanja Foundation’s partnership with UIRI, she joined a two-month residential textile training and now trains at the Nakaseke Textile Centre. Her journey shows how RNF empowers vulnerable youth and women with skills to build businesses, restore dignity, and create brighter futures.

When 16-year-old Nakibuuka Mary lost her mother, she feared her future had closed before it began. A caring local leader introduced her to the Rose Namayanja Foundation (RNF), which selected her for training at the Nakaseke Textile Skills Development and Production Centre

At the Rose Namayanja Foundation (RNF), we believe that education is the key to unlocking a brighter future. Today, we celebrate the remarkable achievements of our beneficiaries from Pope John Paul II High School in Nakaseke District, who have overcome significant challenges to excel in the 2024 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations.
