Today marks a significant milestone for senior six candidates as they begin their Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) final exams. Among them are four remarkable students supported by the Rose Namayanja Foundation (RNF), whose journey of education and empowerment continues to inspire us all.
These candidates include Nakabonge Elizabeth from St. Noah Girls Secondary School Zana, Nankeebe Victoria from Standard High School Kapeeka, Nakiguli Betty from St. Kizito Kisule, and Kimera Godfrey from Pope John Paul High School. These students have been part of RNF’s bursary programme, which is dedicated to providing bright but underprivileged students with the opportunity to pursue quality education.
RNF’s Commitment to Education
The Rose Namayanja Foundation believes that education is the key to unlocking a brighter future for Uganda’s youth. Through our bursary scheme, we have supported over 149 students, enabling them to stay in school, focus on their studies, and achieve their academic dreams. For students like Elizabeth, Victoria, Betty, and Godfrey, RNF’s support has gone beyond financial assistance—it has provided hope, stability, and a chance to excel.
"Empowering young minds through education is one of the greatest investments we can make in our communities," ~ Rt. Hon. Namayanja Rose Nsereko, Founder of the Rose Namayanja Foundation. "When we educate a child, we do more than just open doors to academic success; we unlock a world of possibilities, breaking the cycle of poverty and creating a ripple effect that benefits entire families and communities."
This belief is at the heart of everything we do at RNF. Education is not just about textbooks and exams—it’s about equipping young people with the skills, confidence, and hope they need to overcome life’s challenges.
A Journey of Hard Work and Dedication
As these students sit for their UACE exams, we acknowledge their dedication, resilience, and determination to succeed. The journey has not been easy, but with the support of their schools, families, and RNF, they have overcome challenges and are now ready to achieve their best.
Our bursary beneficiaries have not only excelled academically but have also grown into responsible young adults ready to make a positive impact in their communities. This is a testament to RNF’s commitment to nurturing future leaders through education, mentorship, and support.
Your Support Makes a Difference
As we celebrate the achievements of our Senior Six candidates, we are reminded of the importance of continued support for education. At RNF, we are committed to expanding our bursary programme to reach more underprivileged students in Uganda. Your donations and support enable us to transform lives and provide opportunities for many more students to excel.
We invite you to be part of this journey by supporting our education initiatives. Together, we can empower the next generation to build a brighter, more prosperous future for themselves and their communities.
