The remarkable achievement represents a significant transformation for Butiikwa Primary School, which in previous years faced considerable academic challenges. The improved performance is a testament to the collective efforts of the school's administration, dedicated teachers, hardworking learners, supportive parents, and the surrounding community.
Speaking during the recognition ceremony, representatives of the Rose Namayanja Foundation commended the school's commitment to academic excellence and reaffirmed the Foundation's dedication to promoting quality education across Nakaseke and beyond.
"Education remains the most powerful tool for transforming lives and communities. The achievements of Butiikwa Primary School demonstrate what is possible when teachers, parents, learners, and the community work together toward a common goal," the Foundation noted.
The Foundation recognized the outstanding learners and appreciated the teachers and school leadership whose dedication and commitment have contributed to the school's remarkable turnaround. Through its Education Programme, the Rose Namayanja Foundation continues to invest in initiatives that improve learning outcomes, including scholarships and bursaries, career guidance, mentorship, educational resource support, and recognition of academic excellence.
The Foundation believes that celebrating outstanding performance motivates learners to aim higher while encouraging schools to continuously improve teaching standards and learning environments.
As part of its long-term commitment to educational development, RNF will continue partnering with schools, local leaders, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure that every child has access to quality education and the opportunity to realize their full potential.
