The Rose Namayanja Foundation is proud to announce the success of our Young Women’s Training and Skilling project in partnership with the Uganda Industrial Research Institute. This project was designed to empower and provide job opportunities to young people, particularly young women, in the rapidly-evolving field of advanced textile and garment production.
Over the course of this project, 30 young women were given the opportunity to receive comprehensive training in this field, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their chosen careers. The response from participants has been overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing gratitude for the chance to learn new skills and better their prospects for the future.
This project is just one example of the many initiatives undertaken by the Rose Namayanja Foundation to empower and uplift the youth of Uganda. We are committed to providing support and opportunities for young people to reach their full potential, and we look forward to continuing this important work in the coming years.
