The Directorate of Industrial Training

The Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT) Project is a partnership between the Rose Namayanja Foundation (RNF) and the Government of Uganda through the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT). The goal of the project is to provide skills and training recognition, accreditation, and certification to young people in Uganda.

Over the past year, RNF has worked closely with the DIT to achieve this goal. Through the project, we were able to acquire land to set up a skilling center and provide advanced training in textile and garment production to 30 young women.

Additionally, we were able to provide accreditation and certification to over 100 young people with skills and training. This will not only enhance their employability, but also provide them with the necessary credentials to succeed in their chosen careers.

In recognition of the success of the project, an MOU was signed between the government and RNF to continue implementing the project in the coming year. We are committed to supporting the growth and development of young people in Uganda through skills and training recognition, accreditation, and certification.
