The Rose Namayanja Foundation’s founder and director, Rt. Hon. Namayanja Rose Nsereko has emphasised the importance of nurturing young talent and the foundational role of education in shaping the future.
Namayanja made the appeal last week while speaking at the Semuto C/U Primary School’s sports day gala. Addressing the students, parents, and teachers, Rt. Hon. Namayanja emphasized the long-lasting value of developing talents from an early age.
“When you develop the talents of the young, you’re preparing them for a brighter future. These talents are not only valuable today but will shape their lives for years to come,” she remarked.
Rt. Hon. Namayanja later joined the parents of Bright Future Primary School as they held a dedication mass for the Primary Seven candidates who are due for their Primary Leaving Examinations.
She commended the administration of Bright Future Primary School for its dedication to advancing education standards in the district. “I want to thank the administration for implementing impactful practices that nurture these young minds,” she said. “Your efforts are not only raising educational standards for our district and region but are also creating jobs and opportunities, benefiting families and communities alike.” She also acknowledged Standard High School, one of RNF’s partner schools, for its continued dedication to educational excellence.
Reflecting on the purpose of education, Rt. Hon. Namayanja shared a powerful message with parents and guardians. “It’s not just about what you leave for your children but what you instil in them. Educating our children isn’t simply a matter of financial resources—it’s about passion and commitment to seeing them succeed,” she expressed, acknowledging parents for prioritizing their children’s growth.
In her message to the students, she inspired them to believe in their potential and to pursue their dreams with confidence. “Remember, you’re here not just for your parents’ sake but for your future. Believe in yourselves because you can achieve anything you set your heart and mind to,” she encouraged.
